Yes, the President is mentally unhinged and has clinical narcissism; Yes, he grabbed the "pussies" of women he hardly knew and bragged about it. Yes his negotiating tactic is limited to something he learned in grade school before his family had to ship the unruly Donald off to military school, i.e., bullying ; yes, he has been a plaintiff or defendant in over 4000 lawsuits; yes, he lies about virtually everything and has very limited knowledge of government or U.S. history, and Yes, he is wildly unpopular and so annoying to work with that his administration has difficulty filling positions with competent people.

What worries me is not the popular vote. He'll lose that by a huge margin in 2020, assuming he doesn't get removed from office before then. What worries me is the Electoral College!

Possible but Trump would have to beat 93 % odds twice in a row and Trumps approval ratings has dropped in all the swing states since Nov 2016

Rasmuessen is probably using something close to the 2008 election as a template.

His sample is probably close to D plus 7. and he must sample only about 20 percent Is.
