People who say BLM is racist usually don’t care about the racial injustices in society. BLM doesn’t mean only black lives matter. It’s pointing out that black people are disproportionately mistreated by the police and our criminal justice system. Any recognition that there are still black people alive today who couldn’t drink from the same water fountain at one point in their lives is too much for them to handle.

I can see Pelosi say to Schumer: “Chucky, we need a diversion”. “Any way we can authorize use of nuclear weapons against someone”?

I have a little different take on this. Racism and more importantly to the democratic party, race baiting isn't going away, so they're all good on that. What's problematic for them is the excuse making and often outright denial of the threat posed by Antifa. This newly forming alliance between the Proud Boys and BLM identifies a common enemy. Neither group has much love for Antifa, and the BLM group has come to realize their message is being lost in the chaos Antifa creates. The democratic party needs to distance themselves from Antifa, but this violent mob also is representing much of the leftist base. This is why Biden won't be so direct with Antifa as he was with the Proud boys in telling them to "cease and desist". The violent mob Antifa is a monster born and bred out of far left Democrats and without that far left support the Democrats are dead in the water.
