In fast moving market, IB is a joke

everywhere i have always traded has never been perfect and always could have some difficulties during the hi vol, volatile and fast moving times...certainly soem are better than others but i think you just have to learn how to deal with it and execute trades during these time...i.e. when i was with IB i used it only as an execution platform and used a backup for quotes and all other needs...
1) bitching does no good, you have learn how to deal with it, some of it is i think just a fact of electronic trading
2) anyone that says there platform/software is perfect or never has problems is a liar or salesman (not much difference

I agree too. In fact qdz2's continual whining and moaning would actually have more credibility if he left IB. Then he wouldn't be staying with a brokerage that he obviously doesn't like.... or is he staying just to have another thing to gripe about? :p

Also, his future posts might read, "My new broker is so much better and here's why, blah blah blah.... Glad I finally stopped complaining and left those guys." Now wouldn't that be refreshing. :p

My experience with IB has been exemplary. I can reach them on the phone. They answer my questions. They conduct business in a most professional manner. I"ve been with IB for about 2 years now.
