The economy is already a disaster. It is just that what we have now has been accepted as the "new normal". It is well documented that he US government manipulates key statistics to obfuscate the problem. E.g., the true unemployment rate, CPI, environmental problems like Flint, etc.

Since greed is at the core of human beings, it may oscillate back and forth where the population is appeased, but the logic of history is inevitable - this Capitalist system doesn't and can't work. It is just a matter of time before it implodes forever. People don't want to hear it because to say it means you are automatically a Marxist, but eventually no one will care what you label them. For crying out loud, if supporting Trump doesn't shame you, what will?

The only way to move forward is to unite the Trump supporters and the Sanders supporters. The ocean is so wide I don't see how this can happen. But who knows, maybe there is a strange island in thought where this can happen.

Here is a perfect example of the problem. I have posted probably something on the order of 4000 posts, running the single biggest thread on Trump's pathology, and you ask me why I support Clinton? I understand that literacy is at an all time low, but this is ridiculous.

I support Cliton only because there are two choices - and Trump is a complete and utter disaster for the country. Clinton is just more of the same old same old, but there is still a country there of some sort - blurred and beaten and bleeding, but still there. My real support is for Bernie Sanders, whom we are learning probably would have won the primary had it not been for egregious cheating by the DNC.

Why can't you guys get that through your thick skull?
