OH that 's what tended to caused that move Mr Wiesman ??LOL .Kids are important. I do more swing/position than day trading. Close price about 2:57-3:00 =all have voted by then,CST.

Open price, not as valuable as close price , i record both+ 11:45 to noon = about lunch time is the mid point more or less.[Stocks/trends],

Al Brooks has a theory about max or min of the day happening during the first 18 5min bars with 90% probability. Never actually had the time to verify it though.

I don't day trade per se. I do it but am far from a day trader. So, to any day traders, what are all of the key times you watch during the trading day?

10 a.m. Eastern Time (Economic News) if the response to the news moves the market and 10:30 a.m. for more of the same for the echo or the reversal - day trading options on SPY is where I work. If you do not day trade, this answer may be useless to you. Enjoy!
