Impeachment 2.0

Gee, maybe we'll finally see his tax returns. (Anyone remember those?)

Nope, because they will be under audit permanently. He's the Ex-President.

The Fed can also bring criminal charges. If Trump has silently pardoned himself in advance, we'll just have to let that bit of clown shit play out.

But my point is to not rule out The Fed bringing criminal charges.

Oh yeah,

I forgot about those Pardons...some of it has not been disclosed. Yet, they can't squash the pending state cases against him.

The Biden administration is currently considering releasing Trump’s tax returns to congress.

Possibly. We can't know for sure whether Trump has made undisclosed pardons.

I feel like McConnell’s political triangulation gets underestimated way too much. He basically told every prosecutor and attorney it’s open season on Donald Trump.
Sure, but he was still threading the needle. In any event, DAs hardly need his go-ahead; they're already primed.

And he was contesting the constitutionality of the impeachment trial even though the senate had already voted that it was. How does that work?!

"A million people"

There was an estimated 8-10K people at Trump's insurrection speech. 2-3K on the Capitol grounds.

You retard.

You would revise your statement of the number of people attending the event if you saw the photos I did. Besides, the near one million people estimate was not mine.

The Senate can have a view and a position but they are not the ultimate decider of constitutional and legal issues.
And in fact, The Senate has no say so whatsoballsout on whether or not something is constitutional . However, I should mention that Justice Roberts declined to participate and he does have a say so. They need to get this matter before The Supreme Court so they can rule it unconstitutional to prevent further disruptions to The Constitution.
