no body is saying that the recession is obama's fault or that it wasn't made before him by right wingers.

the claim made was that obama did not tell the truth about the plans in the bill passed. they were made out to be more related to infrastructure, which looking at the bill is not the case.

i don't think that it is impeachment worthy but it does miss lead the country.

the main problem is that it does not address the problem in full. also if he really wanted to change and if he could do it the steps he would have taken would have been more drastic.

for example he could have brought sanctions against the banks and changed the financial system. instead he has just thrown money at the problem and kept a bad financial system. maybe he will do something but looking at previous governments if big change is likely it happens early, straight away.

like i said brown and the boe controlling interest rates happened the instant they got in.

No matter who was elected president, they would have a massive amount of critics and detractors at this point. That being said the man has been in office for less than a month!!

The American people voted for him and the policies that he is pushing. The painful truth is that a majority of the electorate wants massive government intervention and an expanded welfare state. After the recent turmoil on wallstreet, many lost their faith in capitalism. The huge victory of the democrats, was a clear endorsement of socialism (which the Bush admin and wallstreet supported) over a freemarket system.

It looks like the ET KKK wing is having a fit now, because there is a black president (that is why they cannot possibly stop themselves from using the deragatory and rascist language...which is absolutely pathetic), but its in the nations interest that he do well, otherwise we are all in trouble. The problems confronting the nation are way too serious for Obama to have a failed presidency. Rascist lack common sense, so of course they cannot understand that fact.
