Imgur links not showing up

I tried to post pictures and my usual way doesn't seem to be working.

[i m g] imgur link [ / i m g] (I included extra spaces here)

Is there any reason for that or do we have to use the attachment from now on?
 
I admit only marginally related but I really don't like posts with hot-linked media. I've gone to 10 year old posts and the links are dead because the hosting company is dead. If the pics had simply been uploaded they'd still be there.
 
Well, the thing is, sometimes the links show up, sometimes don't. So let's try it here...
