IMF suggests one off wealth confiscation to pay for debt.

Quote from Ricter:

I don't want to push analogy too far, but if we're reached the final table stage we've already let the game go on too long.
Quote from Lucrum:

Really?
Quote from denner:

Isn't this the same guy who pounded the table the past few years that we didn't borrow and spend enough? The same guy who praised Krugger's arguments for going on a spending orgy preparing for a fictional alien invasion...

The same guy who kept pointing to rock bottom interest rates, implying that the free market was offering a once in a lifetime chance to borrow trillions more to "rain down" money on the struggling economy.

By "let the game go on too long" he means letting people keep what they have earned instead of having the state decide how much everyone truly deserves.

Ah...that makes sense now. Coming from him I mean. LOL

you really do not understand the first thing about the leaders who are leftist, socialists and communists.

they would confiscate all the chips and keep them for themselves and a few cronies...

that has been the leftist game plan all along.

you need to study the history of the eastern elite the neo cons the socialists and who funds them.

they are not looking for utopia they are looking for total control of your output. the elite feel entitled to it.

Quote from Ricter:

Kinda like spreading out all the chips again after the end of a poker tourney, so the players can have another tourney!

So the chips would be in the hands of a different few. Remember, you guys have been claiming government is corrupt and we're in a police state now. So why bother criticizing the idea if it wouldn't change anything anyway?

Please stop. Even if this absurd policy were enacted, the political elite would make themselves exempt of it.

So basically, the money that was earned by people who actually work is supposed to be STOLEN legally:mad: by the most out of control, broken, non-working government the US has ever seen, only to use the money to pay bills that never should have been...   We've gotta revolt, and damned soon!!!!

CORRECTAMUNDO! But unfortunately, we can't be effective until enough of us "get it" and are willing to act in opposition... much like the patriots in pre-revolutionary war times. At some point they decided "enough is enough"... "We'd rather die in rebellion than live under the oppressive thumb of King George".

ONLY when 100,000,000 Americans get "fed up enough", will it happen.

The big problem we in America have is that 49% of Americans "owe their living" to their monthly government check. They don't give a CRAP what the government does so long as their checks keep coming... no opposition from them, EVER. (All by design of the Progressives/DemoCraps/Communists.)

The revolt I'd like to see are the earners saying enough of this horse shit, and stopping paying fed taxes across the board. And that's AFTER they've pulled out of stocks, and taken the djia to 2,000. That would be one hell of a revolt!! Problem is, the sheep mentality in America. It would only be a small group of Patriots doing this, and sadly, they'd get crushed like a beer can by a government that's a massive empire that our Founding Fathers never wanted.:(

I do not understand your point.

The cronies already have control of most of the chips and income due to govt policies.

Next they are going for restriction of liberties and constitutional rights. The path is debt slavery.

your whole life will be spent working for taxes, education and healthcare. No disposable income... nothing to pass on to the next generation. Little chance of social mobility.

You are working for that team.
I realize I need to accumulate what is left over now... for the sake of my kids.

If I don't make a unit in the next 10 to 15 years... my kids are screwed.
