I'm worried

The chart shows in big bold print the dates of 1/2/2018 - 3/21/2019, although this trend of the night session out performing the day session has been in play since the early 90s.

Trade smaller positions before you give up on a reliable, consistent trading strategy.
That's what I'm doing atm with a new strategy, this allows for more trades so you get more experience under the belt quicker and spreads the risk.

That’s smart. Paying a little premium for Theta and gaining peace of mind and REM sleep.

But the OP would be foolish to give up on a reliable consistent strategy

My broker has told me that I can activate the demo account and test coverages by buying puts to see if it is profitable to pay the option premium. My broker has told me that it is a good idea and that unfortunately more traders should do it. Obviously negotiating few contracts is also a good idea to limit risk.

Yes, I am worried because I am profitable doing swingtrading and I fear a black swan event. My worst nightmare would be a tremendous gap that would erase my account and far exceed the guarantees of my futures contracts. How do you sleep with that? Is there any formula? What percentage of your account risk? There is an extensive debate here, think that in all roulettes there is a green box.View attachment 212000
That same fear is the reason, why most traders prefer to intraday.
