The collapse or Enron and Worldcom actually had very little impact on the economy. The markets had already tanked by the time those corporate scandals broke.
 
Not exactly, the mkt didn't bottom until july '02, the mkt didn't get going until 10 '02. By your own admission you weren't investing yet. Those of us who were trading remember that period very well. Traders minted money in that 4 month period, it was truly sick.
