I'm not the only one who misses Bush

Quote from 377OHMS:

George Bush was qualified to fly some trainers (T-37 and T-38) and F-16s.

What did you qualify in during your service? Any military type ratings? Anything, anything at all... Any answer C...

:D

Somewhere I had the impression he flew F-104's. Although I may be wrong.

The F-104 was know as, among other things, the widow maker.

I'm sure he also failed to mention Libya was a NATO mission with no American ground troops while Iraq was over 8 years, over 150,000 troops ,over 4,000 dead Americans, over 30,000 wounded Americans ,over 100,000 dead Iraqi citizens and 4 trillion dollars

Since when does NATO override the Constitutional requirement that congress declares the wars?

Quote from AK Forty Seven:

Of course, they would love for the US to send thousands of Americans to die and spend trillions of US dollars to get rid of their dictator rather then doing it themselves
hahaha
first america never sends their thousands without any future profit.
Or you really believe it's all about human rights? :D
Second if it's not nesessary to be present in a country (like in iraq to control oil spots) you just throwing bombs from 2 miles hight and not even care whom you bombing... government forces, "rebels" or odinary people.

LOL. The F-16 wasn't in service during the Vietnam war. :p

Bush flew F-102s. Some say he specifically chose that type of plane because they'd already been phased out of use for Vietnam; only Air National Guard units were still using them.
