So, you are in a poker game with 10 strangers. You are having a good time and trying hard to relieve them of their money. Everything is going well, you have a pile of chips in front of you. Suddenly you spot a pick-pocket guy who is stealing cash from one of the guys at the table. Question: would you or would you not warn that guy of a thief who is trying to steal his money?

That depends on if I actually saw him take the money of if I just thought he might. I would hate to accuse someone of something I couldn't prove. Just the fact that the guy could be a pick pocket isn't enough proof to actual make an accusation. He could just be an innocent bystander.

My course of action would be to maybe warn the table of the possibility of pickpockets being in the area and let everyone fend for themselves.

Wow. Someone forwarded to me the first pitch letter from dl to his new email list. This guy is a powerful writer whose prose is laden with emotional hooks and tales of if I can do it so can you complete with figures about how much he made to sweeten the pie. This is a seriously high end professional marketing campaign launched by a master direct mail Internet marketer. If you didn't know by now. The letter written in classic pitch style gives it away. Can anyone post that piece of marketing wizardry here? This is the best initial hook letter I have seen in the trading business. Be afraid and extremely cautious. You are dealing with an extrextremely intelligent and planned marketing campaign. For what? Time will tell. Just be ready for remote viewers peeking throughyour windows as you slumber. I wouldstay away

This is an open forum, so go ahead and post the pitch.

Good point -- The rules need to be enforced and the game kept fair. In a 'friendly' poker game with 10 participants, it's easy to see who needs to keep watch. Who is the enforcer in this thread? Is he more interested in my well-being or in his own ego? That's not so clear-cut, and I think there is some of the latter going on. Note that I am not defending Doug or his offer. I am only commenting on a psychological phenomenon that I find interesting.

I favor full disclosure. Can somebody post the letter?

Does the victim owe me $50? Kidding. In the end, it may bite me in the ass, but I would warn the competition. Good Karma.

"Suddenly you spot a pick-pocket guy who is stealing cash from one of the guys at the table. "

What part of this statement makes you doubt yourself.

I was sworn to keep it private. Sorry. I will not violate that trust. But obviously there are many others with the first in a series of letters

Sense of fairness is what attracts us to the game. If the goal is to get the money by any means available to you you should buy a gun, not the books on how to trade.

Just staying with the theme of the thread.

No one has actually seen the OP steal anything.

When it does happen it will be too late! But you are right, who am I to judge ... I felt I have said enough to warn. The rest is up to you guys.

Hi Everybody,

First, I wanted to thank everybody who signed up so far. We have 94 people who signed up and completed the introductory "get to know you" questionnaire. As I said in the video, we decided to cut off the process after 100 people signed up. As of right now, we have 6 spots open.

I will schedule a conference call and send out an email to everybody who signed up as soon as I decide on the date and time. I am also working on a FAQ based on all the questions that have been asked so far. I am leaving for NY on March 12 and will return on March 16, so I am committed to having the conference call before I leave. If anybody is from NY and wants to get together, PM and maybe we can meet on the morning of the 16th.

Also, if you go to the site and see that all the spots are filled up, you can put your name on the wait list for when more spots open up. I'm going to be closing the sign-up process sometime today, but I'll be replacing it with a wait list. I am certain that more spots will open up because there are a small handful of people who signed up who give the impression that they signed up for no other reason than to cause mischief.... these people will weed themselves out quickly! :)

Thanks again!

Doug
