you know i like you. however, your claims of any good trader making 5%/month consistently is pure BS in the equity markets. Even the best money managers in the world don't have that type of consistency.

furthermore, sophisticated hedge fund investors will literally run from you if you make those kind of claims.

Get real, man.

Surf,

what you are missing is SCALE. The question should be what performance you can achieve with a certain size. Sure even the best fund managers in the world can't produce 5% because they can't move their money as quickly as a retail trader. I agree though that we can't talk about earning certain amount of money per day in the markets but I assume that MAESTRO means "on average per month".

Of course, I meant this return on relatively small amount < 300K. And, yes, I meant "on average" a day. The reason I am so convinced is because I have done it.

No, you are right, I should have been more specific and less generic in my assumptions. My frustration is channeled towards the OP who does not appear to be a genuine fellow.

You probably didn't read the post that Maestro was replying to. It was clear that by "regardless size" he actually meant "regardless how small the account is".
