That sounds like a video RAM kinda thing -- I'd check out your Task Manager for resource usage -- I'll bet there's some good clues there. Or in the performance "preferences" areas. But that's not any sort of TWS effect in 11 years of usage over ≥3 systems. Hell, I just swapped monitors yesterday -- a small, a medium (new!) and a large. No difference in how things were set up.
Very best wishes -- I think a solution is right around the corner.
Me too. MS-DOS with BMI. Early 90's
Big old K-band satellite dish on roof
Scat...I am using 3 monitors on a workstation system from a reputable vendor...I'm sure you are familiar with them. It has got to be 8 years old by now using Ninja. Not only are the charts with CQG fast and rock solid, support is terrific and in the rare instance I need them, they are Johnny on the spot. I cannot vouch for automated trading however, as I am a manual point and click DOM trader patiently waiting for setups. But I know that other feeds are available for stocks and options.
CQG is the data provider. Are you also using their trading platform? If not, what?
I'm kind of like you. K.I.S.S. I don't pursue anything complicated, but I do want quality charts and ease of tools to use them. BTW.... MetaStock is EXCELLENT at both. I've used their software for many years. My issues are not with the software itself.

What version of metastock are you using? I have version 10 and apparently they are not supporting installation any longer and you have to upgrade. Maybe an upgrade is all you need.
