ok, you should have told us only chief technical analysts are allowed in here ;-)

Ok then let me ask you a question. Why should the market respect your holy grail 200period MA? And why the 50, why the 20, why the 5. Why not the 250, the 40, the 17, the 3? And why the simple MA, why not EMA or WMA. Get my point? I claim you did not form your call merely by looking at technicals but also through other factors. And also you can see time and again that the market clearly does not respect any specific period MA, at least not repeatedly. Dont believe me? Well then run some backtests and you will see.

Even your latest chart clearly shows the market could not care less about your MA setup. So, maybe I could also ask what your point actually is?

THE TOP IS IN!!!!

I don;t comment untill I know for sure, and the last 10 trading days proves that there is a technical top forming right now. Compile that with all the bearish news and I really doubt we will get a run in the stock market by the end of the year. I'm short OTM SPYs and QQQQs, NOV/DEC expiration. I don;t make many of these trades throughout the year, but this is one of the best set-ups in my career for a stagnant market. Not saying the market will go down, but it will not go up. There is no money on the sidelines willing to buy this shit and support 10,000 dow.

GET SHORT OTM SPYS IF YOU WANT SOME FREE MONEY.

I see us trading 1020-1060 for a while.
 
BTW I am actually long a basket of stocks, but I have sold SPYs and QQQQs to make my interest. I hope we rally even if I take heat on them, I'll be able to dump all my stock at great prices.

We will be able to buy most stocks lower than here, in the next 12 months. IMO.

Why r u surprised?

My models told me that we are at the top. As a wrote ealier today on my financialtraders blog, Start of selloff later today or next 10 trading hours.

I started a thread earlier today when Qs were in 44.50 area (right at the time of the top). They made fun of me, and every said "I am taking the other side of your trade". Mods removed the theread. Qs are now at 42.26. Maybe another a bounce up of some sort and then , and then the bam....

Getting harder to find a bargain, that is for sure. I am tired of scrounging around in natural gas.
