A very poorly thought out strategy. He needed to pay up for the time and this was, in my opinion, his only mistake. Direction wise, correct, just not within this time frame, but most likely over the next 3 months. Too bad....

not much to do but wait to sell hopefully at a profit soon. the 85's and 90's went up but still deep in water. Blacksholes equation essentially says options decay at a rate of e^-t based on a log normal probability distribution.

Should've done a little research on how options work before buying those calls...oh well...good luck though, a lot can happen in a couple of weeks. For your sake, it would be nice to not treat the maket like a casino though, you will lose your shirt.

I decided to do this because I am certain that the sp00z is seeing 900 soon. I'm not going to be one of those losers who misses out on an opportunity.
 
you can sell the feb 75/74 spy call sprd for 90 cents,you risk 10 cents,now you are hedged,in the future go for singles ,all the major league baseballl home run kings also hold the strikeout records, they have an endless # of chances at bat... last i checked,baseball rules don't apply to trading...all your smart ass remarks and ridiculous market forecasts indicate you are not in control of your ego,seems it is in control of you,unless your ego is an expert trader,i would quit listening to him

If there is a next time go long ES. Its never good to hold options more than a week, black scholes will become more like the black hole equation.
