I'm buying calls

Quote from Robert Weinstein:

Firstly, best of luck to you.

Why not a spread or sell some puts? let some of that time work in your favor.

What I dont like about this post and I hope for your sake its not true is your desire to 'go all in'. This is a sign that you want the action and not the money. You can not have both for very long. Being all in works every time but ONCE and then its game over.

If you are all in I suggest that you not be ASAP and you manage your risk which is what your paid to do.(you don't want to get fired do you?)

Being totally long is high risk at any time as the market can really fall fast when there is panic. Not like the confidence level is high to begin with. Of course in this market you could see the dow move up 1000 points tomorrow but again you have to manage the risk vs reward.

Best of luck to you and your trade.

thanks. I understand the risks, but it's one I'm willing to take becomse I'm so confident the spooz will retest 900 soon.

so why do you think this rally has any staying power? i'm not saying that it doesn't, but you seem completely convinced that you're right. the best mind in the world wouldn't write with your conviction, but here you are.
trading is about probabilities in the end, and, if there's one thing you should have learned by now, it's that nothing is guaranteed.

Paper Mache trader!

So far things are going better than expected. I'm ahead on all purchases, but obviously that can change very quickly (but I will succeed or else I wouldn't have done this).

Anyway, I put in more money than I expected. I made the final purchase 30 minutes b4 the close and started 80 minutes before. So all I can do now is wait.

With the Dow making yet another intraday high it's time to sing a song

happy birthday to me

happy birthday to me

I'm going to make so much money

happy birthday to me

Since October 10th the sp00z has been trading like a wave with a bottom at 800 and a top at 930 or so. We've bounced off the lows of 800, so the next target is 900.

Perhaps this is more for other new traders as I have doubts that this concept will matter to you at this point.

Sometimes when you win you still lose. This over simplifies it but I think helps get the point across.

If you took all your money and bet it on a bet with a 90% chance of winning but you bet all you have every time you will end up losing all your money even if the payoff is 5x your original outlay.

Regardless of your odds you should never be 'all in' in the market and especially so in a concentrated manner.

Again, I hope your trade works out well but I fear that in the end it will not matter.

Nassim Taleb had a good illustration of this.

He said he was having dinner with his friend one night, and they flipped a coin to determine who would pay for the meal. Taleb's friend won the coin toss and got a "free" meal. Sort of. This is because the friend still paid for half of the meal probabilistically.

You said you were "FULLY VESTED" about a week ago.. I guess that was another lie from Stock_Trad3r

No, he said he sold everything (near the bottom, big shock) and now to make it up fast he's all in in options. Can't lose! :p

Around $5K. This is a longer term trade though so I'm not selling. AAPL surging AH on huge earnings. This should help my calls.

I've been wanting to go 'all in' like this for awhile and so far the trade is going superbly.

Spy up 60 cents in AH
