Surprise, surprise! I just covered half of my shorts at an average of about 1030.70. Looking at the world markets (performance of the $, Nikkei, Japanese Bonds, etc.) my best guess is the market is going to blow this off and realize that the Fed still isn't going to do anything anytime soon. This is truly my feeling as well. I'm thinking that there is a chance that the market reverses (partially or fully) the move that it had yesterday. I'm adding to my long Yen position. Still holding a 50% short position in S&P and will watch the price action. As people have said, and I agree, it's a gift to make money on the short-side in this market, better to take some off the table until the intermediate trend truly does change for more than a few days.
