Wow, forgot about her.
She was a CNBC "guru" from 2008-2011ish when they finally realized her perma bear thesis was dead wrong.
Haven't heard her name in probably three years or more. Now I know why.
LOL, yeah just remembered her name now, when you listed off all the places i thought were going to crash based on her analysis at the time. Thankfully i dont just dive in to a trading idea, and i allow price action to confirm it....... unlike her apparently.
Thats the funny thing about all these stories about the heros who got 2008 right, yeah they got it right, but they risked everything to get it right, and if they were wrong they would have went to zero, the market has a graveyard miles deep with the bodies of dead bears who thought we were over valued the whole way up, eventually some guy who goes all in at the top will be considered a hero cause he risked it all and happened to actually catch it.
I mean those guys on the big short nailed it, they caught the top and figured out how to best profit off of it, but i remember CNBC talking housing bubble in 2005, had any of those guys started that early theyd just be "Another brick in the wall" -pink floyd
The movie even lionizes the guy (Christian Bale) who stubbornly refused to return his client money as he was getting buried every single day, until it paid off....... Sounds like MF global but with a better outcome.......
what kind of message does that send to someone starting off in the market? LOL.
