Hi. My friend is saying that Bush sign some document about deporting all illegal immigrants from USA. And that caused a lot of them going back home. Is it true?

I think so. I have noticed a marked increase in Immigration Customs Enforcement (ICE) vehicles in CT. They are actively raiding businesses and farms.
Crops (tobbacco) are go to waste and rotting in the fields as the farmers cannot get pickers. White folks just don't want to do the back breaking work. It's no picnic working in the sun when it's 90F and humid. The Mexicans are damn hard workers and do not complain they are happy to just have a job and too be able to send money to their families.
I've have also heard that forex "Western Union" exchange repatriation to Mexico is down sharply.
Just like the Roman Empire was built on the backs of slaves so is the US on the backs of illegals.
Food costs are going to go up as supply drops and cost of picking increases dramatically....mark my words illiegals have helped keep food inflation down.

the reference to Rome is interesting? why didnt you address the question, which related to the underlying cost of "cheap" labor rather than your view of Roman history? the truth is that the labor is anything but cheap, except to employers. eventually, it may extend SS benefits a little further out and likely swell the ranks of the military.

most people are mad that illegal immigrants are taking OUR jobs. who are you are you kidding, they have the worst jobs. yes i am against them getting all this free healthcare, free education. dont blame the illegals for whats wrong in the USA without them food costs will be a lot higher and so on.
on the other hand blame these corporations who have taken the good factory jobs that used to pay $15-$35 dollars an hour and shipped them to other countries. 90% of the illegals make under $9 dollars an hour so what is everyone complaining about.
why dont you people quit complaining about illegals and hold your politiians accountable for blowing all the money that was in social security that your parents put in there which is not there anymore.

<p>I employ a housekeeper a job typically held by illegals in many parts of the country. I pay her the minimum wage and report that on my income tax which means she gets social security credit. She is not an illegal or even a minority. She has a high school education and is certified as a nurses aid. Her husband has a fairly good job which provides her with health insurance. She likes and wants the job. Where I live, minimum wage jobs are not going unfilled and they are not being filled by illegals. Everyone in my neighborhood hires most of their yard work done, and I have yet to see anyone from any ethnic origin which would typically type them as illegal. Where I live, people believe in working hard and playing by the rules and although they respect the laws they have mostly contempt for the scum in both parties who call themselves lawmakers. Which is to say that they do blame the lawmakers as you suggest but they put equal blame on the illegals who are the lawbreakers.
