Trayvon Martin viciously attacked George Zimmerman. George Zimmerman is allowed to walk in his own neighborhood without being beaten. As outlined in the trial, if George is attacked he is well within his rights to use his legally carried gun to defend himself. End of story.

He was an illegal alien involved in drug smuggling who had been deported five times. If he had been caught overtime parking, it should be a scandal because he should never have been in the US. The SF sheriff's office released him into the community knowing all this and knowing that ICE had requested a detainer on him.
It was a perfectly legitimate election issue as it epitomized the risk the insane sanctuary city policies held for law abiding Americans.
This criminal fired a gun that had been stolen from LE. He claimed to have "found it." Sure he did. Under the circumstances I am not particularly interested if he shot this poor woman deliberately or just carelessly let go a round amid a crowd of people. Any fool can see this was far worse than an unfortunate accident.
Actually that's reality,that's why Martin wasn't murdered by Zimmerman's car.Zimmerman got out of his car to continue the hunt when Martin ran away from him.
We are seeing two unrelated situations play out that perfectly reflect the vast and unbridgeable divisions in our country. One is the Alabama senatorial election. The other is this SF tragedy. People on either side simply cannot fathom the reasoning of people on the other and see it as vindication of their worst assumptions.
It's clear to me that we really do need to think about some way to split the country up. A civilized split is preferable to civil war, which is the likely alternative.

I actually agree with AAA.If not for slavery it would have been best if the confederacy won.Lets split the country up.Obviously conservatives gets the confederate states and red states that border them,dems get the solid blue states and we negotiate the rest.
You are allowed to go walk in your neighborhood when you spot someone suspicious. Not a crime. Nor is it hunting. Martin did not ran away. Martin hid and ambushed Zimmerman, viciously beating him.
