Texas Governor issues EO saying, "State will ignore Biden/other's bans".

SW Airlines says, "SW will ignore Governor's ignore".

Where does it all settle out??

Personally, I hope EVERYBODY ignores the bans! People quit their jobs en masse over poison jab "refusal". Business shut down, "en masse".... economy comes to a standstill and goes into recession... government rethinks its bans and tyrannical power play... has to back-track with tail tucked between legs or else get slaughtered in 2022 mid-terms.

Let's hope.

You know how the SCOTUS pussy-foots on big issues, fearing the Dems will pack the court and make current members irrelevant. I don't expect much from them other than toeing the party line.

In a few months when Covid is rare will companies still fire you if you don't have vaccine
I don't think companies will want to lose good employees because of a shot for a risk that has been mitigated

Southwest and most other airlines are federal contractors. The employees of these contractors are required to be vaccinated.

It should also be noted... that the federal government made it clear they would take steps to remove the FAA operating license in the U.S. of any airline which failed to comply.

Note that Covid cases are falling in all but 5 states in the U.S. currently -- as we move pass the Delta surge.

Of course -- states like Florida and Texas with lower vaccination rates and poor public health policies suffered the most.

Well.. if anti-vaxxers got vaccinated then we would not see a new variant get generated. Over 99% of variants come from the unvaccinated.

BTW -- have we found a variant yet that the vaccines are not effective on? No -- in that case there is no issue.

We may have seen reduced efficacy but it should be noted that over 95% of the people in the hospitals are unvaccinated -- as well as most of the cases.

Eventually, this vaccine mandate will reach the US Supreme Court where it probably, be struck down for being unconstitutional. You cannot continually violate the rights of American citizens like Joe Biden and the Democrats have been doing so far. The US constitution is above any executive orders signed in contravention of US citizens rights.
