Seriously RN I can't imagine this doing anything but increasing the post count. I wouldn't consider it if I thought the net post count would decrease. Given the quality increase paired with increased volume I can't understand why it wasn't implemented. But given this is Barron's site and I imagine it's unpleasant for him to reconsider his decision I will refrain from further input on this topic and accept that he knows what's best.

It gets old having good / decent threads derailed

It gets real old reading the same ole - it can't be done / it don't work - bullshit

Pretty sad.., but those folks will relent at some point - then we can get back to productive conversations

The user block feature was implemented but it conflicted with another module running on the site so I had to temporarily set it aside. I've got the developers of the conflicting module trying to correct the issue.
