IG , eToro, FXCM Plus500, tradestation signals

This must have been posted before, I just can't seem to find the thread.

Why can we not just trade the IG, eToro and all the other large broker signals ? Will this not give us enough diversification and different trading strategies ? Why do we need to find our own edge ? Surely, these large companies have more market researchers and technology than what we will ever possess ? I thinking of automated high frequency trading "super" computers operated by large Hedge funds. Can the correlation not be drawn to: us playing chess against the DeepBlue IBM computer and -worst of all- thinking we are going to win ?

Bucket shops have A and B customers. They hedge the trades of the winning A customers and take the other side of the losing B customers trades. They do not provide signals. Why would they? They are hoping you are going to lose.
