If you work for an introducing broker can you get reduced fees for trading, or would you still have to lease or buy a seat from the CME to get lower fees? Anyone working at a futures brokerage, or has in the past, do you get good commissions from the FCM you clear through, or do you get stuck paying whatever your schedule to customers is for some reason?

That's completely false. You may work for a company that has this policy, but there is nothing preventing principals or AP's from trading their own accounts.
As far as reduced commissions, that's going to be something that you could negotiate and is going to be dependent on the firm. You aren't getting any reductions on exchange fees unless you lease/own a seat or or have an ECM membership (for the CME anyway).
