The Catholic church has been going through this for many centuries. It never stops. I'm glad my dad hated churches and especially Catholic ones, it kept me from being an altar boy.
I knew one very devout Catholic woman. She said that if she didn't kneel at a certain point in the service her priest had told her it might affect her immortal soul. I was thinking if you can't trust a priest with the sacramental wine, you can't trust a priest with the altar boys, you probably can't trust a priest with the family dog, then why trust a priest with your immortal soul? I didn't say it though, I was afraid that a Priest would kill me with a dirty look or something...
