If you want to fail as a trader, study TA

Even this statement is incorrect. You are not a (unt.
They have value.

PC. You are so very predictable. Give it a rest please.

Just to repeat what I said previously:

On the contrary, I have read some of your posts, when we met once before. So this time I knew that you would want to be seen to be right, to argue and argue ad infinitum, when it really does not matter to me or anyone else except you.

Considering the time I've spent in the UK, we couldn't have spent much time talking in person. Most individuals I had the pleasure of meeting there were not only pleasant but civilized & brilliantly open minded.

I absolutely love open intelligent conversations. How better to expand one's views of any particular point. I do have a hard time when individuals purposely stifle self validation of any idea or thought though.

If common sense offends you so much, put me on ignore.

Sounds good. Was it the PDF from NY's thread I think it was. It had the picture of the sectors? Showed big money with red areas or something similar to that? I remember that guy was trying so hard to crack that PW. ANF.

Quote from The Expert:

XX, different classes of people have different habits:D

We do not need to know all of their habits, but, we need to be aware that they are different!

If you limit your thinking to what YOU like best, then that is fine, but only if it is consistent enough for daily profits.

If not, then, it is a requirement to acquire the required knowledge so that you are not left sitting there looking at a stagnant few charts that are just going nowhere.

Time = Money

As there are idiots trading every market, then, it is possible to take money from any market, once you are aware of what is going on.

99.99% of traders use text book TA, and, whilst following this can be profitable in suck markets as currencies, when daytrading US Stocks, there are far more important things to know than text book TA, and, they are the pure and simple things, which, are better called common sense things.

The act of trading is so simple even a monkey can do it, but, the art of taking GOOD money from others, daily, and keeping it, is a rare art for those who trade their own personal accounts.

The first step to achievement is believing.

I will post a pdf later on, but it will require a password to open, sorry, as TE does not do easy, for, that is just insulting the human brain:D

Quote from The Expert:

Every trade taken must have a valid reason, and I don't mean a valid reason being the crossing of the price at some stupid squiggly line:D

When the trade is placed, you either WIN or LOSE..FULL STOP

Whether the trade is a WINNER or a LOSER does not matter one little bit, really:cool:

What does MATTER, is that you know beforehand how much it is going to cost you to find out you have just LOST, and, how much you will make if you WIN.

If a trader ACTUALLY does this, day in and day out, then, it is just a matter of TIME to increase the account balance.

Haven't dropped in on this thread for a long time and my email alert opened straight to this post, a nice bit of distilled wisdom that, once you understand and implement, quickly takes you to the "other side".

IMO I absolutely agree.
It is just too bad the rest of its posts aren't as wise & well thought out.

What does that mean?

Is it left, or is it right
How can I, the one so shy
Choose the set, with no regret
For others seem, to be in gleam

But wait I see, is that TE
He comes to show, the one with glow

If common sense offends you so much, put me on ignore.

My common sense tells me that you are just an irritating nuisance and that is all you ever intended to be. So now, as I place no value on your opinions, you are on my ignore list, in fact the only person to be so.

Thank God.

It's always very telling when I post a comment and the response I get only addresses a small portion taken out of context. When you strike a nerve or hit too close to home, those taken off guard will always retreat.
Someday I hope to understand why people are so scared and intimidated to investigate and validate that which they do not understand or is outside their comfort zone.

Thanks for your explanation Oldareg, but I must admit that you're losing me a little with all the acronyms.

BOB = BreakOut Bar aka. Thrust Bar right?
