I will respond to trading related questions by PM, but they must be clear and sensible, for if they are not, I will just say, "what kind of a stupid question is that to ask anyone"![]()
There IS more to what I have discussed on T2W and ET, for, up to now it has all been about the very basics of trading, for, as The General would say, the battle is won beforehand![]()
NY is probably one of the best traders I ever had the pleasure of trading with, and, he has taught me a lot since I joined TFF.
I was once Mr TA himself, with every concoction of an indicator wallpapered on to my charts, and guess what, the first time I met NY, he said to me, "Mr TA, if you want to make GOOD money trading then stop studying TA, for it is a total waste of time, and Time = Money in this game". I really though he was an idiot, but then, after I saw what he could do without any TA indicators what so ever, my mind quickly changed, and I have never looked back since![]()
It really is amazing how so many fail a simple little test, which, again, proves beyond the slightest doubt, that,
TRADERS ARE BORN, NOT MADE

Well, I caught this thread early, and quietly followed. No one from what I have seen has put this forward........
IF YOU USE A CHART OF ANY KIND THEN YOU ARE USING TA!!!!!
Price action is TA. Anything other than trading based on future earnings is TA.
Now there are a great many who do not get the price volume relationship, and thats fine.
There are several others who do not understand volatility as it relates to price and volume.
But understand, if you use a chart, OF ANY KIND, you are a technical trader.
Caveat Emptor
