Prof, Gold, take it elsewhere!

I'm still waiting on TE, The General or Mr. 3rd Person to contribute something other than psychosis.

Ask me what I do and I can explain it in a few paragraphs, no sweat. Disagree with it or not you can understand how I view a chart. This isn't my thread so I'm waiting on TE to simply explain his point. Twenty some odd pages, depending on your page length, and still no simple explanation. He is displaying anything other than a classic need for attention and a obvious need to avoid posting a conceive explanation of his trading "rationale".

go take a shower . . .

His goal isnt to hand you his method of trading. His goal is for you to figure it out. He has been in this forum many times. READ MORE, THINK MORE, POST LESS.

as a matter of fact his goal is to start a new faith he is using ET as a training ground

i know cause met him at the Jesus Christ school of divination

People in this thread would be better served to spend more time helping themselves rather than wasting their day waiting for handouts and making creative insults.

:)

I agree. The first step would be to put this thread on ignore.

I don't need a method "handed to me". I'm highly consistent and profitable already.
I'm always interested in understanding an edge that others conceivably have to see if there would be a possibility to enhance what any of us, that are already successful, do though.
Once you break a problem down to its least possible denominators, you can't go further. Then it becomes how one puts those pieces together and the reasoning behind the reconstruction of those pieces that either makes sense or not.

Anytime someone comes into a forum like this with a "Holier than Thou" attitude that isn't willing to at least explain the fundamentals of their thought process, let alone the details, then there is an inherent problem. I don't need details to determine the potential consistency of a method.

You are certainly living up to your stated "Occupation" as being a "Professional Procrastinator".

From Wikipedia:
The psychological causes of procrastination vary greatly, but generally surround issues of anxiety, low sense of self-worth, and a self-defeating mentality. Procrastinators are also thought to have a lower-than-normal level of conscientiousness, more based on the "dreams and wishes" of perfection or achievement in contrast to a realistic appreciation of their obligations and potential.

Please, timewasters, stop adding bloat and find something more useful to do with your time.

Kind regards,
R

That was a moniker I specifically got in college (25 years ago) for my constant and consistent partying and putting off studying for tests until the last minute. Still managed an IT degree with a 3.89 GPA though so your Wikipedia definition, like a lot of comments in this forum, are gross generalizations not based on specific situations.

TE............I'm pretty sure I saw that fingerprint picture sometime today or last night, but I can't remember where or what it is. I also don't remember why I brought up market profile, other than I saw it mentioned and it seemed like something that could increase the odds.

If trading is gambling, which it obviously is, then does a trader have to have a specific strategy?

What if today I see a strong stock in an uptrend, and after a move down an important price level is hit, and I also see a pattern for all the fools to take, and then I see all those fools get stopped out. It then reverses back up. If that trade has a $1 risk and a $10 reward I want to take it.

What it tomorrow I decide based on the weekly QQQQ chart to buy puts on it 2 months out because I think the weekly chart may be topping out? Risk 2 vs Possible Reward 20. Why not?

The next day I see a stock gap down after an extremely narrow range, and then it crosses back above it's open during the day, and I see a 1 risk vs 3 reward trade.

Do I have to have a pet name for my trades, or can I just use common sense (or uncommon sense)?

Holy s.h.i.t. MK, I went away to watch Spongebob Squarepants, and when I come back I don't know where I am:confused: :D

YOU ARE MENTIONING TOO MANY THINGS:mad:

Remember, you MUST be a baby first, and never be afraid to be called a baby, for, I watch Spongebob and Mr Krabbs all of the time:cool:

100 SHARES, REMEMBER:mad:

Did you ever get that PM on the banned site, YOU KNOW, the one about letting US traders trade a similar account to CFD?

You do not know how important THAT IS, but I do not have the time to look it up for you

When you get it right with 100, then, and only then, can you move on.

TE

Spongebob can do that to a person ! Be careful.
I was just trying to figure out if it's best to trade only 1 particular setup like one of those with a name such as Ross Hook, or if it's better to just enter based on common sense whether or not it happens to have formed one of the famous setup patterns.

I never received a pm about the CFD's. I don't think he really knew of one. Why is that so important? Sometimes you seem to hint I just ain't gonna make it without that.
