This statement is very true..... I took a ton of "small losses" all year and wasn't doing so hot until may 6th gave me new life. I doubled my account that day using 2% max risk along with adding on the way down.
 
Taking small losses all year and in one day it all turned around . I don't know if I'll ever have an experience like that ever again tho. May 6th was a once in a lifetime event IMO.
