The ice used to extend down to about NYC. Now it is all gone and 99% melted BEFORE the industrial revolution.
Also, the consensus said that the artic was supposed to be free of ice this past summer. What happened? It actually increased. It doesn't matter though, because Al Gore's pockets still got fatter.
