This article describes what happened to stock holders in Germany during their currency collapse.

The people who held on to their shares through the crisis ended up keeping most of their savings in the end.
If you own 1% of a company, before a currency collapse, if the company is stable and survives the collapse, you still own 1% at the end of the crisis.
Companies that are diverse and have a lot of international holdings would probably fare better through a crisis.

With Hyperinflation those Quarterly dividends will go up from (GE for example) 10 cents to 500 dollars.
