Quote from jem:
I was damn sure those early polls were slanted.
As I predicted they de slanted in time for the election.
That thread was not filled with me saying Romney would win.
I probably said that a few times... about the time he got up 7 after the debates. At that time he probably was winning.
Then the president did better in the debates, the strom happened... fatso sold out and the president turned up with a better ground game.
He still got far few votes than he had in 2008. Romney under performed.
As I said in another thread. I don't think I'm a sore winner, nor do I think you're a loser in any regard. You felt strongly about you party, to the point of thinking polls were wrong, big deal. Nothing to see or to continue saying about any of that.
I'm curious as to your thought s on the GOP going forward.
1. Christie and Bush? Who else do you think may get involved?
2.Do you think they threw Romney under the bus and are now trying to connect with hispanics via Rubio or others?
3. Is the tea party dead, or are they going to be even more of a factor next time around? Your thoughts?
4. Do you think that the changing demographics are going to make it harder for the more conservative members or your party to survive? See 2 above.
It's a chat board, I'm just chatting jem, your thoughts?
(can't wait until I can get back to the States, home never seems so beautiful in my eyes, home for Christmas, much less ET time)
