Liberals have routinely used the highly offensive term "tea baggers" to label Tea Party supporters. I'm pretty sure not one of those posts has been deleted.
Et's resident religious bigots use incendiary language to insult Christians almost daily. No reaction from the moderators.
Various terms and insulting cartoons and altered pictures are used to describe working class whites, particularly white southerners. I personally find them highly offensive. Nothing is deleted.
Women, particularly conservative women, are constantly demeaned, called offensive names and objectified. No mod seems to care.
However, when a couple of chronic scolds sense a PC violation, a thread title is changed from something clever and catchy to something bland.
ET has inadvertently made the very point numerous posters made in the Planet of the Apes thread. Namely, that an enormous double standard exists when reporting black on white violence and crime as opposed to white on black. Does anyone believe they would have deleted a thread called "Deliverance at county fair as white rednecks beat african americans?"
In fairness, the mods should start deleting any of the offensive items I mentioned above. I think having a softporn thread is also highly offensive to some women, even if a woman runs it, and it should be banned to avoid the possibility of getting someone's panties in a twist.
I look forward to an ET that is run along strict PC guidelines with anything remotely offensive to liberals or recognized PC victim groups banned immediately.
