If the Democrats love Democracy, why do they want abortion decided by a Court instead of a vote

An estimated 1,037,000 abortions occurred in the formal health care system in 2023, the first full calendar year after the US Supreme Court’s decision in Dobb. It is also the highest number and rate measured in the United States in over a decade
 
What!??! They love democracy, which is basically mob rule.

What they hate, or don't understand, is a constitutional republic... because then they can't gang up and pick on the little guy.

This isn't the dang "Handmaid's Tale"... throw yourself down the stairs for all I care. Just don't make me push you or pay for it.

I don't think abortion is that high on the electorate's mind TBH. Inflation, inflation, inflation. It's the economy stupid.
