Yes, but the nukes are spread out all over the country. Their intelligence service created the taliban and are sympathetic to them. They are seen as a means to prevent India from gaining a foothold in afghanistan.
The US simply does not have the resources to invade Pakistan. We could make some limited incursions, but what happens if they use a nuke on our troops? Most likely, if the taliban take over, we will do nothing except talk.
I heard with pakistan the nuclear option is on the redbook. If taliban shows up in pakistan wielding a nuke I would not be surprised if a medium yield device is detonated over pakistan.
As always the TV news is spreading falsehoods to us, to whip us into a frenzy of war.
Like us, the Pakistani people are being victimized by bankers.

The US stood by when martial law was declared in pakistan, and when they rounded up the judges and lawyers (who represent democracy).
Typically, the "insurgents" are those who resent Western interference in their country. ...that's how the British Empire spread, and now the US-Israel empire.
Can anyone tell us about the juicy oil pipelines and contracts in pak? I am sure they exits.

For the vast majority economic issues such as inflation, unemployment and poverty were a greater problem, according to a survey by the International Republican Institute (IRI), a Washington-based organization chaired by Senator John McCain.
Like us, the Pakistani people are being victimized by bankers.

Iran says Israelâs undeclared arsenal of approximately 200 atomic warheads is the only obstacle in the way of a nuclear-free zone in the Middle East.
In a Monday address to the third session of the preparatory committee for the 2010 Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty Review Conference in New York, Iranian delegates hit out at the lack of world action on Israelâs possession of atomic nuclear weapons â which can be launched from land, sea and air.
According to the delegates, the Israeli militaryâs indiscriminate and deliberate use of white phosphorus shells against Palestinian civilians shows that âTel Aviv is not fit to possess nuclear weaponsâ.
âIsraelâs nuclear arsenal represents the single greatest threat to countries in the region,â said the delegates, while criticizing the Westâs hands-off approach to Tel Avivâs development of nuclear weaponry.
âWashington echelons and their European counterparts actually helped equip Israel with nuclear weaponry, in complete violation of the nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty,â the delegation asserted.
Israel is widely regarded as the sixth-largest nuclear power in the world and the sole possessor of an atomic arsenal in the Middle East. It reportedly houses at least 100 bunker-busting bombs, which come in the form of laser-guided mini-nukes with the ability of penetrating underground targets.
Over the past decades, US presidents have largely colluded with Israelâs so-called policy of nuclear opacity.
Investigative journalist Seymour Hersh has revealed that former US president Richard Nixon and his chief foreign policy adviser Henry Kissinger privately endorsed Israelâs atomic arsenal in 1969 and banned any inspection of its Dimona nuclear center.
Although Tel Aviv was not a signatory to the NPT, the US leadership went on to to provide it with advanced weapons such as krytrons (nuclear triggers) and supercomputers.
The Iranian delegation called for a non-discriminatory disarmament process, saying the Westâs silence on Israeli nuclear weapons sends a negative message about double standards
