This is just a repeat of an earlier strategy.

Bottom line either the U.S. should be "all in" with full resources to defeat the Taliban (very hard to do in rugged Afghanistan - just ask the Russians).

OR the U.S. should just totally get out of the country... while warning the Afghanistan government that if the Taliban start to launch attacks outside the country we will be back with an abusive amount of air power to remedy the problem -- so the locals in Afghanistan better keep their business inside the borders of their nation.

We can only do the best we can do. Obama had 8 years to clean up this mess. To his credit...I'm sure he did the best he could do too. Either way... don't throw Trump under the bus.... he inherited this sh*t. There is no easy solution or it would have been fixed long before 45.
