If market is forward looking, why does it ever go down?

I don't think any of any of it is real as moves barely make any logical sense, I see it as a big stupid waste of space game, but I can make money from it.

Yeah DAX before US Open then NQ till US Close, I haven't done stocks in 18years or options.

Traded for 2hours, 13 trades, 5 losers +$200 today ( not great ), shortest hold 1min, longest 6mins.

The market is what you make of it.
We don’t ask you why you invest in it.
Nor if you’re qualified enough to participate.
In the end it’s really about supply and demand.

Financial markets aren’t prediction ones.
What are we trying to predict by the way ?
You don’t get rewarded for predicting X or Y.

Sure you are right. Market will not talk to you it will not recommend to you.
However you allocate your money and you will lose it or get some profit.
You can not predict, however some rules and principles, may work or opposite.
Most likely it is a poker.

Do the odd computer system to stop going nuts but trying to tough out scalping without going nuts LOL

From what I've read investors are looking past 2020 and instead pricing stocks based on what they think future performance can be over a year from now. But why is there a limit to how forward looking investors are willing to be? Whether there's a V-shaped recovery or U-shaped recovery, the market eventually goes back to where it was. People are OK looking past 1 year, but not 2 years? Not 5 years? I don't fully understand.

Now I’m self employed. Can come back easy, but do not want.
Long ago was doing COBOL and other crap too.

Used to do computer games, but ended up writing business software, shop, stock control, GPS tracking, Just in time order, some science crap, did some lean management turned a few companies around yep BORING!!!

I mainly chase skirt, ride Mountain Bikes and Climb Mountains very little work

I like your life stile. Me and my wife we like travel a lot, cruising too.

May I normally start climbing this month, about 105miles to my favorite climbing spot hopefully next weekend.

More of a skirt chaser, hence Mega Muff booked ( mayorca ) in August but not looking good, I'll book up Tenerife instead December time.

At least got no school runs for a while ( Ex, still bring up kids, prefered the kids LOL )
