There's certainly value out there, but there's a lot of high PE (and negative PE) growth stocks that are helping to prop things up significantly. Growth has been on fire.
Either way, we may be near a top here with the midterms about 90 days out. I don't see large players wanting to add with that looming. Low PE steady eddies with divys above 2 should start creeping up, I think money will start trimming the high growth stocks near term.

If Trump is impeached, a stock market crash would be the least of our problems. Civil war and states demanding to secede might be at the top of the list.

Trump will not be impeached. Should dems win the House they'll immediately file articles of impeachment because that is their only play left for a 2020 campaign. Impeachment will fail in the Senate and that will be that.
The dems are all in, full court press by everyone involved. They don't take the House back with this charade, they are dead in the water for 2020. What will they run on without saying, he should have been impeached, but those dirty repubs in the senate let him off? That is their platform. Abolish ICE, open the border, lets all be socialists doesn't get them to a winning position, and they have nothing else.
