in my reading of the law and facts it has not been proven trump was making the payments for campaign purposes. if it is not proven that trump was was making payments for campaign purposes disclosure would be unnecessary or even inappropriate. For instance if he were making the payment to avoid public embarrassment.... or to keep it from his wife or something private like disclosure would not be appropriate yet alone demanded.

There is also a strong argument hush money would never be a legit campaign expense so again we are not sure it would have to be disclosed.
