If Canadian politics is leading indicator for the US, the republicans are in trouble

John Oliver is awesome! Even though i dont agree with him sometimes politically, i like the way he breaks down issues, imo he is way funnier than Jon Stewart was, although Colbert would give him a run for his money.

Jon Oliver on the Canadian election (recorded before the election).
Amusing and good commentary.

Oh, so now it's about the execution. Meanwhile supply-side looks flawed from the get-go:

Who knew?

Wow, so you googled "supply side is a scam" and got links that say supply side is a scam"? That's it, I'm converted! Liberalsm is my new philosophy because Freddie showed me the light!

What a jackass you are.

OMG...Ben Bernanke is an alien, too!

I wonder what other truths are out there that google can show me?

...jackass...
Oh, so now you know more about supply-side than Laffer? What don't you know? He didn't tweak Kansas the way it "should" have been tweaked, because you know more about supply-side tweaking than Reagan's economic advisor knows about supply-side tweaking? If only he and Brownback had consulted your various threads first...

No, the project failed despite supply-side's own guiding light having vetted the initiative. Game over. You lost. Supply-side has proven to be the creationism of economics.

The Laffer curve, which is what Laffer is known for, is clearly defined. This isn't some opinion - it's established fact in economics - something you don't have a whole lot of knowledge on. I get it, it's not your expertise.

What was executed in Kansas was no way a model execution of the Laffer curve. I don't have to know more about supply-side than Laffer to see this. But I do know more about it than you. That is obvious, and it's relevant in this conversation.

Keep pissing all over yourself. It's nothing if not entertaining to watch. And Kansas is not the "utopia" of conservatives like you originally claimed (which is the point of this argument - that you began).

Speaking of pissing all over yourself........

I meant it is established as fact what the Laffer Curve is meant to represent, not whether or not it is accurate. But 10 to 1 you have no idea what the Princeton article is even saying. All you know is that it is criticizing the curve.

This is a funny quote from that link:

Supply-side economists assert that there is no incentive to work if the tax rate is 100%
Well duh, like we're supposed to consider that isn't true? Who the hell would work if they were taxed 100%? Probably people like you, Freddie. Right? Maybe you didn't study Mythology, but you sure do practice it! :)
