Lately, there is a lot of controversy regarding Apple products. Some believe that it is a complete zero, while others believe in the future of this technology. What do you think? Did Apple really lose the title of innovative leader? And who will be able to take this place over the years?
I think it runs in cycles. Apple has been the leader for 25 years. The biggest thing that they have done is create a beautiful product. Their phones are attractive and they make the best looking laptops in the industry. It does not take any more time or money to design an attractive product as it does one that is average looking. I just wish HP and Dell would figure that out.
I would not count out Apple. A lot of people are saying to wait for the Iphone8. Maybe the Iphone7 is the model to skip just like Google had a hit with Windows 7 but not Millenia and Vista. Maybe it will get better with the Iphone8.
Who knows who the leader will be in the future....Tesla makes the news every day. I just wish Musk would make a profit while he made the news. ..making the news for the right reasons. I think the leader will be someone that is not in the news today. Someone different.
Thirty years ago the leaders were Osborne, IBM, Sony and Polaroid (remember them?)
Maybe Apple has seen its glory days behind it....or they could be producing cars like Tesla. You can't be number one forever. Or maybe they will re-invent themselves.
Are you familiar with Lockheed Martin? The Aerospace Defense firm? They are the ones that manufacture the F-35 fighter jet, radar, air defense systems..among many other things. The F35 is the most advanced fighter in the world and it was introduced 10 years ago. I'd love to know what they are working on now that we will see in 2025 etc.. They create innovations for the government that we don't hear about. I'd like to walk down the halls of DARPA and see what they are doing behind all those locked doors.
Comagnum.....what phone did you buy for $29? Did you buy it in the U.S.?
