Price action is not important that much when you have long goals at all. I.e. you likley follow some big macro catalist going for big targets. Price action is very important when you trade intraday for fast profits. In that case you are trading blind for 50% not seeing volume, pivots, leading indicators to spot turnarounds and divergence for exits/entree and other reasons. Lagging big MA's to initiate trades or TP etc

Dude, I've been day trading for over 30 years. Not sure if you're even that old yet.

Dont agree, indicators are extremely helpfull but indeed dont exaggerate. Maybe traders that have long game dont need much but when you like fast short game you miss the edge and cant live without them.

If you still believe that indicators will give you an "edge", well, I don't know what else to say.

To me it looks like @schizo and @Laissez Faire are one of the few legit and competent traders on this forum, plus they seem to be emotionally mature and deserve respect for not engaging in these baseless and relentless personal attacks.

The rest of you who are constantly picking up fights need to grow up. That applies to @hotshot as well because he began to threaten with rapes, etc. Pretty sick.

Trading is not just about making money, but it's also a tool for personal development. Some people will connect the dots between trading performance and self-development, and some won't.

Unfortunately, for most people trading will continue be an on ongoing frustration which they will continue to project onto others.
