Just a simple question, will the US stay in iraq if a civil war breaks out? Yes or No?

Yes. Rumsfeld said as much during the recent Senate Appropriations hearing.


Give it some thought. An Iraq devoid of strong, effective leadership will prove a fertile breeding ground for terrorists in the middle east.

This represents everything Saddam wasn't and why the whole Iraq-Al Qeuda connection was a load of crap to begin with.
