IE security + drop down menus

No. that would more likely be caused by your computer being low on system resources. Is the issue only with IE? and does reboot fix the issue?
 
Don't think it's a resource problem at all since it's a brand new system, it does seem to have alot of restrictions on site pop-ups and what not. Rebooting doesn't help.

So far it's been only one this one particular site (my blog site). I do notice that the drop-down menus appear for like a fraction of a second then disappear, if that gives any clue.

edit: It seems this problem is just occurring on a single webpage, so I'll just contact those in charge. Thx.
 
ah, have seen that. They are using some activeX control that keeps taking focus and that is screwing up the menus.
