Bottom line: Cancel Culture is out of control. Society & businesses need to push back on the Cancel Culture crowd. Unless someone has committed a crime they should not be fired for what opinions they express on their own time. I will allow that if they are inciting others to commit crimes (under the legal definition) or push what courts would define as "hate speech" then I would support an employer taking action.

The actions of many people being canceled in recent months does not rise to the level where someone should be terminated. It does not matter if the individual is expressing opinions on the right or left --- having a mob of people on the internet demanding they be cancelled has reached a peak of unacceptable absurdity.

For those on the left who are pushing that it is perfectly acceptable to terminate and ruin the lives of people on right for the slightest infraction --- I have a warning for you. Blowback is a biatch. What comes around goes around -- shortly there will be a internet mob demanding people on the left be cancelled for the slightest infraction. On this note I will mention that TJ Ducklo was pushed out of the White House today -- providing his resignation for comments deemed misogynistic - which set up a right-wing crowd on the internet demanding that Biden fire him.

Another harsh lesson for university idiots, nothing you do on your employer's computer is private. You have no expectation or right to privacy when using your employer's equipment. In fact you signed agreements stating this. Yep, your suit is is laughable and meritless -- just like your absurd antisemitism.

A group of Penn professors filed a lawsuit against the University, alleging a pattern of "McCarthyism" for preventing speech in opposition to Israel and seeking to stop the University from submitting documents to Congress.

The lawsuit was filed on March 9 by associate professor of Arabic literature Huda Fakhreddine and history and Africana studies professor Eve Troutt Powell in conjunction with Penn Faculty for Justice in Palestine, a collective of Penn faculty who say they are standing in solidarity with Palestinians. The complaint alleges that efforts to investigate the University over alleged antisemitism on campus have threatened professors' academic freedom.

The faculty hope the lawsuit will convince the University not to comply with the House Committee on Education and the Workforce’s request for a plethora of documents pertaining to on-campus antisemitism, which they described as including "teaching files, emails, and other material for political scrutiny," according to a press release from PFJP.
