I came across a headline the other day that was hilarious in its stupidity. The problem is the idiot 'journalist' who wrote the headline and the piece was dead serious and your average voter who was educated in the public school system likely saw nothing wrong with it. The headline read
"Trump is just six Senate votes from impeachment" http://www.newsweek.com/trump-just-six-senate-votes-away-impeachment-651857
Now it is from Newsweek, which really ought to be called Newsweak so I can't be too hard on them. They did have a link to another story that had an image of Seth Myers so maybe this was in the comedy section but it seems like the press gets most of their stories from Colbert, Jimmy Kimmel, and the like. The fact that a so called 'journalist' would be so ignorant to the process of impeachment you really have to scratch your head.
Maybe this Elaine C. Kamarck can point to the clause in the Constitution where impeachment occurs in the Senate, if not, maybe this dunce can take a few classes on the Constitution. Better yet, maybe she should actually read it. It is amazing what passes as 'news' today.
I wonder who she voted for.
