As I'd consider myself an insider, I'm surprised you think you know more than I do. The fact is Timber does not make decisions based on IB client info. This has been stated by numerous people on this site including the chairman of our firm during the previous earning's conference call.

Are you putting words in my mouth? When did I say that 'I think I know more than you do?'

I believe he's talking FX while I am talking stock/options/futures.

Regardless, that does not contract the above statement regarding the Chinese wall.

You're wriong. He was replying to a stock question. Again I did not say it was contradicting the statement regarding the chinese wall. I said specifically two people representing IB but contradicting each other. No mention was ever made of any 'contract' either.

I don't get the constant IB bashing here. If you don't like them as a broker, get a new broker. Is that too hard to understand???

If they aren't their broker, why the heck do these people care? Are they principles of other firms, trying desperately to knock down IB? IB is my broker. Are you trying to protect me from them? I make a hell of a lot of money using IB and the API. I don't need your "protection".

IB shouldn't have to defend themselves from bogus attacks by these other firms. If you jerks can't beat IB in the market place, you sure as hell won't win by doing the bash thing here. Too many of us know the truth. :)
