Xenia Hotels & Resorts disposes two hotel properties

Xenia Hotels & Resorts (NYSE:XHR) completed the earlier announced dispositions of the 245-room Hotel Commonwealth in Boston, Massachusetts for $113M (represented an 11.8x multiple on the hotel's 2019 Hotel EBITDA) and the 492-room Renaissance Austin Hotel in Austin, Texas for $70M (represented a 6.8x multiple on its 2019 Hotel EBITDA).

Besides the sale proceeds, the company retained $6.6M in cash that was held in the properties' FF&E reserves; sale proceeds to be used for repaying borrowings under the line of credit and for general corporate purposes.

YTD, the company has now sold four hotels for ~$400M.

Including the dispositions of Residence Inn Boston Cambridge and Marriott Napa Valley Hotel & Spa, which were both completed in October, the combined sale prices of the four properties sold by the company in 2020 represented an ~10x multiple on 2019 Hotel EBITDA.

Yunji shares up 25% on deal with Bytedance's live streaming platform

Yunji (NASDAQ:YJ) says it has signed a cooperative framework agreement with Bytedance's (BDNCE) Chinese live streaming platform Douyin. The news sent YJ stock up 24.71% in post-market action.

Through this agreement, the membership-based social e-commerce platform, Yunji, will leverage its online store and video account on Douyin to launch products sourced from its differentiated supply chain. In addition, the company focuses to expand the influence of the high-quality private label and joint-venture brands through live streaming events on Douyin.

Yunji generated RMB87.5M in gross merchandise value (GMV) and 10.7M views during its first-ever live streaming show on Douyin.

Van I have spent some time researching all these vaccine plays my head is spinning there are a lot of cool University labs that just are working on the same stuff and in partnerships. One outfit that has some nifty tech is:

Watch for these guys to go public. But it's a crap shoot you have to go with a co that has some universal vaccines in other areas and assume they can pull it off with Covid but the Co I have decided upon is Curevac. CVAC.

Arcturus Therapeutics(NASDAQ:ARCT)ranks as the smallest of the biotechs with clinical-stage mRNA coronavirus vaccine candidates, with its market cap at only a little over $1 billion. The company could grow significantly, though, if experimental COVID-19 vaccine ARCT-021 fulfills its potential.

The interim results from a phase 1/2 study of ARCT-021announced last weeklooked great. Arcturus reported promising immune system responses for the experimental vaccine, along with an encouraging safety profile. Even better, ARCT-021 could be effective with only one dose. Most of the leading coronavirus vaccines require two doses.

Arcturus is already talking with Singapore's Health Sciences Authority about advancing ARCT-021 into later-stage clinical studies. The company expects to initiate discussions over the next few weeks with other regulatory agencies about a path to late-stage testing of its COVID-19 vaccine candidate.
